![]() We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone that participated - your feedback is, has been, and will continue to be critically important to ensuring that SimAirport is able to become the best tycoon-style management game ever created. We had an absolutely fantastic response to the survey, and the results have already proved to be incredibly useful as a tool to help guide our development efforts. We want to thank those of you who participated in the SimAirport Survey that we put out with the May 2017 patch. We know how critically important it is for existing saves to continue working and we'll do our very best to avoid this situation for all future patches - indeed, we have evaluated the code and we do not expect this to happen again moving forward. We will continue to do our absolute best to avoid breaking old saves and we apologize in advance for the annoyance & frustration that this causes. In some cases it's incredibly difficult, if even possible, for us to maintain full backwards-compatibility - this patch is unfortunately one such case. We do absolutely everything we can to avoid having to invalidate old saves and to ensure full backwards-compatibility indeed, we have not had to invalidate saves at all since the week of the original release (~145 builds ago!). The archival branch is named "archived_may20_2017". You can use this branch to continue playing these old saves without issue, however you will not benefit from any of the bugfixes or additions contained in this patch. If you do have any saves that you'd like to continue your progress on, we have created a new 'Archived' branch which you can use - this branch has the same game version as the Default (general release) branch did as of the May 20th update. ![]() Unfortunately existing saves are NOT compatible with this update. ![]() We'll be posting the updated roadmap here when it's ready and we plan to release that within next 1-2 weeks! We are also putting the finishing touches on an updated Roadmap now that we've addressed many of the things that were on the original Early Roadmap, and drawing heavily from the results of the survey that we put out last month. This one is a jumbo!Īs usual, we'll soon be kicking off the next round of updates - this time around we'll be pushing updates to the 'Edge' branch, and from there we'll move them over to the Experimental branch roughly once a week or so. Tonight we're thrilled to close out this round of updates with a general release default patch and take yet another giant leap forward. SimAirport launched into Early Access just 108 days ago and, though it seems like just yesterday, we've been quite busy and the game has come a tremendous distance already. Tonight we have a major patch with some big things ready for you! Big things, such as larger runways, land expansions for larger maps, light rail platform, conveyor utility updates, and much more. The Patch Notes below are taken from this forum thread of the game's forums. ![]() Atom's unused race_back is "Short immunity to contact damage after teleporting".Instead of a longer shield, she gets a teleportation ability. Atom's unlock is a reference to how Crystal's Throne Butt works in the retail version of Nuclear Throne.Gamma Guts will increase Atom's contact damage as well, so teleportation does not need to be relied on. Hammerhead - Not very useful when you have the Anti-Matter Ultra Mutation.Ītom's Throne Butt combined with Energy Brain will make beating a level without firing much easier.Second Stomach - If health pickups give you double HP, skipping one of them due to Atom's passive won't really be a problem.Rabbit paw - Items fade more quickly with Atom's passive, so this mutation will help you if you miss some.Plutonium Hunger - Pickups despawn a lot quicker, so you will be able to pick them up from a lot further away. Also useful with the Proton Ultra mutation. They deal a lot of damage and synergize well with Atom's passive ability, especially when stacked with Scarier Face. Boiling Veins - Reduces the danger of Explosive weapons. The ones that are the most important are gamma guts, boiling. Gamma Guts - Strengthens Atom's contact damage and allows you to kill lesser enemies by simply teleporting on them. Mutations: According to the PSN guide your mutation list for the run as melting gets repeated as skeleton, but I didn’t confirm. As enemies will have less health, you will be able to one-shot some of them with a single lightning ray or plasma gun projectile. Most efficient when stacked with Electron Ultra Mutation. Energy Brain - Enhances the damage dealt by Atom's starting weapon, and by teleportation if you have Throne Butt.Scarier Face - Causes enemies to have even less health, most efficient when stacked with Proton Ultra Mutation.Unlocked by taking Throne Butt as Crystal. ![]() Teleporting into a solid wall destroys walls around you. ![]() ![]() While all the usual quick race, time attack and multiplayer modes feature, MXGP 2020 also brings with it a career mode whereupon you choose a team and bike class before going through a series of races, unlocking new sponsorships and bike parts as you go. Sadly however, the content which surrounds what is otherwise a super solid experience is lacking somewhat in both flair and charm. MXGP 2020 then doesn’t have any real flaws from a handling point of view – a key aspect of its design which should arguably be the bedrock of the entire experience. Simply, there is a great deal of enduring, mud-splattered satisfaction to be had from tearing around corners and leaping over massive hills and it’s a thrill that developer Milestone have reliably nailed extremely well with a practised hand. While equally, the constant, rattling thrum of your metal mount is also keenly felt adding yet further layers of immersion to a rallycross simulation that was hardly bereft of that quality in games past.Īdditionally, the sense of speed and that feeling of smash-mouth, rough and tumble racing that is synonymous with motocross is also very much accommodated by MGXP 2020’s first-person camera too. The feeling of inertia and resistance that you get from the triggers as you try and force a burst of acceleration as you explode out of a tight hairpin corner is quite the sensation. Much of the joy of the MXGP games has been the evergreen conflict that exists between man, machine and mud and in playing a part in this battle, the DualSense controller leverages its fancy haptic feedback and adaptive technology to palpable effect. However the primary benefit that the PlayStation 5 version of MXGP 2020 enjoys over every other is the manner in which the DualSense implementation has been handled. ![]() MXGP 2020’s sharp dynamic 4K resolution is offset by distinctly mid-generation PS4 textures and trackside detail, while the game’s buttery smooth 60 frames per second has some of its sheen taken off it by the asset pop in which occasionally rears its ugly head. Certainly then, there are a number of visual trade offs observed throughout the game. While MXGP 2020 is undoubtedly the sharpest and smoothest that the franchise has ever been on a PlayStation console, it still falls some way short of what Sony’s monstrous lump of silicon is capable of. Which is to say that MGXP 2020 has a solid core but does little to take advantage of the new technology that it’s hosted on, let alone advance the franchise in any sort of meaningful way. The latest in the series, MGXP 2020 is almost the typical poster child for third-party, cross-generation games. It was only ever going to be a matter of time until Milestone’s MXGP franchise would come screeching onto PlayStation 5. ![]() Beatles’ Roadie, Mal Evans, is Subject of 1st Full-Length Biography.Jerry Samuels Dies: One of Pop Music’s Most Unique One-Hit Wonders as ‘Napoleon XIV’.Neil Young’s ‘Harvest’: Keep Me Searching.Stevie Nicks, Billy Joel Open Concert Series as Nicks Pays Tribute to Christine McVie.‘One Toke Over the Line’ on ‘Lawrence Welk’-Huh?.Remembering Hal Blaine, Wrecking Crew Drummer on 100s of Hits.10cc’s ‘The Original Soundtrack’: A Widescreen Masterpiece.2018 Oscars ‘In Memoriam’ Presented via Tom Petty Song.‘Elvis’ Movie Gets Shut Out at Academy Awards.Kenny Loggins Adds to Final Tour, ‘This Is It’.Doobie Brothers Expand Reunion Tour With Michael McDonald.Yes Shares 1st Track From New Studio Album, ‘Mirror To the Sky’.Lynyrd Skynyrd Pays Tribute to Gary Rossington in Emotional Return to Stage.^ "Tom Petty Tells The Stories Behind His Songs".^ "Exclusive: Interview With Author of New Tom Petty Book".^ "Tom Petty's Long-Awaited Wildflowers Comprehensive Collection To Be Released".^ "Tom Petty - Wildflowers (Home Recording) ".^ "The Best of Everything: The Definitive Career-Spanning Hits Collection 1976-2016 - Tom Petty, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers | Songs, Reviews, Credits". ![]() "Tom Petty's 'Wildflowers' Turns 25: The Stories Behind the Songs". ^ "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Tour Statistics | setlist.fm".^ "Wildflowers - Tom Petty | Song Info".^ "Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers Chart History".^ "You Wreck Me - Tom Petty, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers | Song Info | AllMusic".And then I realized that there’s probably nothing wrong at all. "Wildflowers" is also Tom Petty's fourth most streamed solo song (and seventh overall) on Spotify, even surpassing the same album's big hit " You Don't Know How it Feels". The title of the November 2020 book Somewhere You Feel Free: Tom Petty and Los Angeles comes from a lyric in the song. It is a comprehensive re-release of "Wildflowers" including the home version (released as a single in August) along with the album Wildflowers and many unearthed gems and demos/home recordings. On the same day, it was officially announced that on October 16, a posthumous album titled Wildflowers & All the Rest would be released. The video contains never-before-seen footage shot by Martyn Atkins during the recording of "Wildflowers". On August 20, 2020, a posthumous release of the home recorded demo version of the song was released as a digital single alongside a music video. It was one of the non-singles which were included on the compilation The Best of Everything (others were " Southern Accents", " Square One", "Angel Dream" and "Dreamville"). Petty also stated "Wildflowers" was easy to write and compose. The song has gone on to become one of the most beloved in Petty's catalog. AllMusic describes it as having a simple but effective folk-based chord progression, with a sprightly, almost country-oriented rhythm. The song became quite popular in concerts, and though it was not released as a single, it charted at #16 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart, at #11 on the Billboard Rock Digital Song Sales and at #3 on the Billboard Lyric Find. " Wildflowers" is a popular song by Tom Petty and the opening track from the album of the same name. " You Don't Know How It Feels (Home Recording)" With more than 30,000 Filipinos calling Mississauga home, it’s one of the most active Filipino communities in Canada. As such, if you’re looking for a less-expensive area to attend college or get acquainted with the Canadian lifestyle, Mississauga could be just the place for you. That being said, while Vancouver is one of the true jewels of the Pacific Northwest, and has been aided by a booming tech center, like its American counterparts Seattle and San Francisco, this has come with a noticeable spike in certain sectors which make up the overall cost of living. Generally speaking, when most people think of the greater Asian-Canadian community, they think of the Pacific Coast, and cities such as Vancouver in particular. China is an extremely-diverse region linguistically, and that diversity is preserved in Mississauga’s vibrant Chinese-Canadian community. More than 28,000 of those residents speak either Cantonese or one of the many different variants of China-born languages. With somewhere between 21,000 and 50,000 Chinese-Canadian immigrants living in the area, it’s one of the largest communities for that ethnic group in Canada. Its rising population of Chinese-Canadians is yet another testament to that fact. Sam Woo BBQ, Mississauga by Whpq / Wikimedia Commons / CC BY-SA 3.0Īs seen above, Mississauga is a city which is not just diverse, but extremely receptive to non-Western immigrants and values. As such, if you yourself are one of the many millions of Muslims, Sikhs, or Hindus living in India and Pakistan and are looking for a change of venue while still being able to celebrate and embrace elements of your own culture, Mississauga could prove to be a good option, especially if for some reason Toronto seems too large or off-putting. Mississauga also hosts specific festivals for Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs, including Muslim Fest and a Kahlsa Day celebration. However, at least at the outskirt, we’re going to skip all the lovely little political complications which have plagued the Indian subcontinent for decades or even centuries and instead focus on the inspiring, largely peaceful mix which the two have found in parts of Canada such as the Pacific Coast, the greater Toronto Area and, yes, Mississauga.Ĭombined, Hindus and Muslims make up just more than 20% of the population in Mississauga, and while those faiths are very different, and the divide between the two may be seen in part in the rift between Indian and Pakistani-Canadians, the mere fact that tone in five Mississaugans belong to one of those faiths serves to illustrate the degree to which these minorities are represented within the municipality. Now, as anyone with anyone with the most basic knowledge of the region will tell you, lumping these two nations together can be problematic, to say the least. Here are four examples of such communities, which have immigrated, survived, and thrived in a city which truly is one of Ontario’s’ hidden gems. What’s more, it has come to be home to some very distinct ethnic minorities, some of whom have some of their largest communities right here in Mississauga. While it may have gotten its start as a suburban offshoot of Toronto, it is now the sixth-most populous city-sized area in the nation. ![]() Nevertheless, Mississauga is an excellent option for those looking to enjoy the amenities of one of Canada’s most populace provinces while immigrating to a decent-sized but not overwhelmingly-huge city. After all, even though Mississauga is a Top 10 city in Canada in terms of population and development, it’s still located in the burgeoning province of Ontario which (in case you haven’t heard) has no shortage of world-renowned cities, with both Toronto and Ottawa located there. One of the cities that’s often overlooked by those looking to immigrate to Canada is Mississauga-and it’s understandable why.
